Specialists
There are times when your pet may need the services of a
specialist. A specialist has to spend several years of extra study
and then pass a specialty board exam. The following specialists
come to our hospital to examine and treat your pet:
Dr. John Mauterer
is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. He is experienced in
a wide range of surgical techniques from repairing bones and joints to complex
abdominal surgery. He not only knows the HOW of a particular procedure, he also
knows WHEN and IF surgical intervention is necessary.
Dr. Kenneth Arceneaux
is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine. He has a
state of the art ultrasound machine with which he can study the heart and
abdomen. He also can perform endoscopic exams and biopsies. He has a wealth
of knowledge of the latest medications and recommendations.
Dr. Stephen Lemarie'
is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Dermatology. He performs
allergy skin testing and desensitization to allergens.
